The minor with the initials RTA (14) who was found dead in an empty lot in Pejaten, South Jakarta got a job at a spa through content on TikTok.
South Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim PPA Unit Head AKP Citra Ayu said the information was conveyed by the victim’s brother during the investigation.

“So far we have only received one piece of information, namely from her brother, yes, from her brother who is also the reporter, that this victim got information related to this work from TikTok,” Citra told reporters, Tuesday (14/10).
Nevertheless, Citra said that her party was still investigating information from the victim’s older brother.Including, regarding the recruitment process.
“Later we will also understand more about the process, what the recruitment is like, whether agents are involved. Well, we will explore that later during the examination of the relevant parties,” he said.
Furthermore, Citra revealed that Delta Spa management had confirmed that the victim was one of the therapists there.
“In essence, the manager himself confirmed that the victim or body found was one of the therapists at Delta,” he said.
Until this news was written, there had been no official statement from Delta management.
The female therapist with the initials RTA was found lying dead in West Pejaten, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta (Jaksel), Thursday (2/10) at around 05.00 WIB.RTA is only 14 years old.
“It’s true (the victim) died. In an empty lot, yes (the therapist),” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the South Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Ardian Satrio Utomo when confirmed at that time.
The police are currently investigating allegations of exploitation related to the victim’s death.In the process, the police will investigate the recruitment process for victims.
“Currently it is still in the investigation stage, we have to make sure about this victim when recruiting, we have to know everything first, there are steps we have to take,” said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Monday (13/10).
“So we are still carrying out investigations. We are using Articles on Child Exploitation, TPPO, Article 2 of the TPPO Law and also the Child Protection Law,” he continued
