The Puskas Award is an award for the best goal in a football match which is held every year.This year’s calculations are based on the annual calendar, not the different competition calendars.This award was given by FIFA and began to be held on October 20 2009.
The winner of the Puskas Award is determined by public voting or voting by the general public and votes from the jury panel or FIFA Legends Panel which consists of football legends appointed by FIFA.

Ridho became the first soccer player from Indonesia to be nominated for the Puskas Award.Ridho was nominated for the Puskas Award with the goal he scored with the Kemayoran Tigers against Arema FC in the 2024/2025 Liga 1 competition on March 10 2025.
At that time Ridho fired a shot from near the center line.The ball rolled into Arema’s goal which was guarded by Lucas Frigeri.
The announcement of the FIFA Puskas Award usually coincides with The Best FIFA awards night.In previous implementations, the agenda took place at the end of the year or the beginning of the year.Until now there is no definite schedule regarding The Best FIFA event.
