Salaries of DPR members

However, DPR Speaker Puan Maharani denied the news.
“There was no increase,” Puan said after attending the flag -down ceremony at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Sunday (8/17).
Puan said that members of the DPR did get compensation in the form of home money.But this is because they no longer get house office facilities.
“That’s all because the house has been returned to the government, that’s all,” he said.
So what is the salary of DPR members?What are the details?
DPR members receive salaries and benefits every month.
The amount of salary is regulated in the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 75 of 2000 concerning the Salary of the Leadership of the Highest/High Institution and Members of the State High Institution and the Honorary Money of the State Institution Members.
Meanwhile, for a house allowance of Rp50 million.DPR Secretary General Indra Iskandar said that DPR members for the 2024-2029 period received a house allowance of up to Rp50 million because they did not get house office facilities in Kalibata, which was judged to be the general general condition of the physical.
Not only that, DPR members also get official travel money.The provision is regulated in the Regulation of the Secretary General of the Indonesian Parliament Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Official Travel of the Secretariat General of the Indonesian Parliament.
However, the regulation did not include the nominal of official travel money explicitly.
Article 22 only states that there are six components of domestic official travel costs;Daily money, transportation costs, lodging costs, representation money, vehicle rental in the city, and the cost to pick up or deliver the body.
Based on PP 75/2000, the following basic salaries of DPR members:
Speaker of the House of Representatives: Rp5,040,000
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives: Rp4,620,000
DPR member: Rp.4,200,000
Meanwhile, the allowance of DPR members is regulated in the Minister of Finance Letter Number S-520/MK.02/2015 and the Circular of the Indonesian Parliament Secretariat No. KU.00/9414/DPR RI/XII/2010
