Purbaya hosted Basuki at the Head Office of the Directorate General of Tax (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance, South Jakarta on Wednesday (1/10).Basuki is not alone.He was accompanied by the ranks of the IKN Authority.
“Minister of Finance Purbaya also provided support for 3 financing schemes for the continuation of the construction of IKN,” wrote a statement on the Instagram account @menkeuri.

First,
Purbaya promised to provide funding support through the State Budget (APBN).The Treasurer of the State has not yet specified the exact number that is disbursed to continue the construction of the new capital city.
Second,
funding through government and business entity (PPP).
Third, Foreign Direct Investment
(FDI) alias foreign investment.
Purbaya and Boss IKN Basuki also discussed other things outside of funding.The Treasurer of the State said he received a report on the progress of the IKN Nusantara development.
Purbaya also heard another update after the official IKN was determined by President Prabowo Subianto to become the capital city of political starting in 2028.
“Pak Basuki reported the progress of the IKN development program after the issuance of Presidential Regulation No. 79 of 2025 which established IKN as a political capital in 2028,” he said.
The Minister of Finance, who had just served since Monday (8/9), was still paying attention to the fate of IKN.Purbaya gave an example of the government budgeting Rp5.7 trillion for IKN in 2025, including those scattered at the Ministry of Public Works (PU).
He even promised to push faster the construction of the new capital city next year.However, the former Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) did not mention the exact numbers prepared to work on IKN in 2026.
“IKN is still encouraged. Next year (2026) pushing even faster … it’s a big enough investment (at IKN Nusantara). We hope that later when it appears to start the road, the private sector will also start entering there,” Purbaya said after the plenary meeting at the Indonesian Parliament, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (9/23).
“But I will wait for the President’s order (Prabowo Subianto) what kind of,” he added about the certainty of the state budget in sustaining the development of IKN.

b.2026: Rp17.08 trillion (budget requirements rose to Rp21.1 trillion)
c.2027: Rp14.64 trillion
d.2028: Rp2.68 trillion

b.Realization of 2022: Rp5.5 trillion
c.Realization 2023: IDR 27 trillion
d.Ceiling 2024: IDR 44.5 trillion (realization of IDR 43.3 trillion as of January 2025)
