In his official statement, Thursday (18/9/2025), Assistant Deputy for Communication and Legal of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, M. Holik Muardi, confirmed that the vehicle in the video was parked in the regular zone.The costs charged are also in accordance with applicable regulations.
“The tariff is indeed following the regular parking service provisions. Nominal Rp1.2 million appears because vehicles are parked from 8 September to 12 September 2025, or more than four days,” Holik said, as reported

He added that for more than one day trips, tourists are advised to choose the inpatient parking service.The tariff has also been adjusted to be more friendly for users.
“Regular parking fees are only for short needs. For those who plan to park more than one day, Soekarno-Hatta Airport provides special inpatient parking facilities. With this service, the tariff is more efficient than regular parking,” he continued.
Holik also invites all users to plan parking according to the duration of the trip, both short and long term.This step is expected to make a traveling experience through the airport more comfortable and efficient.

Inpatient parking rates at Soetta Airport
To avoid cost surprises such as the viral case, along with the details of the inpatient parking rates in the Soetta Airport area:
Parking location in front of the 601 building
Car: IDR 6,000 per hour (for the first four hours).
4-10 hours: IDR 35,000.
10-15 hours: IDR 55,000.
15-24 hours: IDR 80,000.
The second day and so on: IDR 60,000 per day.
Parking Location at Terminals 1 & 2
Car: Rp. 30,000 for the first four hours, plus Rp. 6,000 per hour next.
