Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament Puan Maharani sang the lyrics of the song Imagine from John Lennon while giving a speech at the MPR Annual Session at the Parliament Complex, Friday (15/8).Initially Puan alluded to the representation of women in the Indonesian Parliament for the 2024-2029 period which reached the highest record in history, which was around 21.9 percent or 127 out of 580 members of the DPR, although it was still not according to an ideal target of 30 percent.Puan says men and women bear the same responsibility to build world civilization
