The Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Bali, deported a Foreign Citizen Woman (WNA) from the United States (US) with the initials JRG (44) for abusing a residence permit while on the island of Bali by opening a sexual retreat class.
“Deportation was carried out because the person concerned was proven to abuse a residence permit by holding a retreat class activity in Bali,” said Winarko as Head of the Class I Immigration Office Special TPI Ngurah Rai, on Thursday (19/9).
Chronology, starting with reports of people who suspect JRG activities in the Seminyak region, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.Then, immigration officers followed up on the report.
The Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Team (Inteldakim) conducts field supervision and cyber monitoring.As a result, evidence was found that JRG held an intimacy Mastery Retreat class on 4 to 8 September 2025 at a villa in Seminyak.
Meanwhile, Intimacy Mastery Retreat is a private class program that teaches practices and techniques around intimate relationships, emotional closeness, and sexual activity using various supporting equipment.
“This activity is paid and followed by a number of participants from various countries. In the activity, photographs of equipment related to sexual activity were found,” he added.
JRG is known to arrive on the island of Bali on September 4, 2025 using a visa on Arrival (VOA) which is valid until October 4, 2025. However, he misusing his residence permit by holding commercial activities in the form of sexuality retreats, which are not in accordance with their permits.
Then, the Ngurah Rai Immigration Intelligence Team secured JRG on September 16, 2025 when he was about to travel to Jakarta through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.Based on the results of the examination, it was decided that JRG violated Article 75, paragraph (1) of Law Number 6, 2011 concerning Immigration
JRG is then subject to immigration administrative actions in the form of deportation and deterrence.Deportation was held on Thursday (18/9) using the EVA Air airline with the Denpasar-Taipe-Los Angeles route.
Winarko asserted that his party would continue to tighten the supervision of the activities of foreigners in Bali.
“Every foreigner in Indonesia is required to comply with immigration rules and respect the applicable legal norms. We will take firm action against anyone who misusing his residence permit,” he said.
