Indonesian women’s volleyball national team U-21
berseded by Serbia 2-3 (21-25, 27-25, 23-25, 25-22, 13-15) in the fourth match of the U-21 2025 Volleyball World Championship. Following the U-21 volleyball world championship standings after Indonesia lost to Serbia.
Indonesia again swallowed defeat in the 2025 U-21 volleyball world championship when facing Serbia at Jawa Pos Arena, Surabaya, East Java, Monday (11/8).
Being determined to rise after losing to Puerto Riko, Indonesia was 21-25 from Serbia in the first set.
Indonesia tries to rise in the second set.But the Red and White team must fight hard before winning 27-25 in this set.
Sergia looks so strong in the third set because it can outperform Indonesia until 21-15.But the host does not want to be ashamed at home.The fierce struggle was given by Junaida Santi and his friends, but again left behind 23-25.
When Serbia wants to win the fourth set to finish the match, Indonesia still puts pressure.Indonesia was in 12-14, but could turn around 16-14, and continued to maintain advantage up to 25-22.
However, Indonesia was cheated on crucial points in set five.Smes Gendis Azzahra was blocked by the opponent so that Serbia won 15-13 in the deciding set.
This was Indonesia’s third defeat in Group A of the 2025 Volleyball World Championship. Previously Garuda Pertiwi was defeated from Vietnam and Puerto Riko.
With that defeat Indonesia ranked fifth after collecting 5 points.Both Indonesia, Serbia, and Puerto Riko both collected 5 points.However, Indonesia is ranked fifth because it has only collected one victory.
Even so, Indonesia’s chances of the round of 16 of the 2025 Volleyball World of the U-21 2025 are not closed.Indonesia will undergo a deciding match against Argentina on Tuesday (12/8).
