Donald Trump
praised Türkiye, Qatar and Indonesia for their efforts to secure a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
In his statement before embarking on a trip to Israel and Egypt to attend the Peace Summit on Gaza, Trump praised Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s “extraordinary” role.

“Turkey is also extraordinary. President Erdogan is also extraordinary. He is very helpful, because he is very respected. He has a very strong country. He has a very, very strong military. And he is very helpful,” said Trump, as reported

Trump also said Qatar helped with the deal and called Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani an extraordinary leader.
“His country is right in the middle of everything, more than any other country, more than the UAE, more than Saudi Arabia. Qatar should start getting recognition,” he said.
Trump also specifically mentioned other countries playing a role in the ceasefire negotiations including Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.
Trump on Monday (13/10) arrived in Israel, where he will speak at the Knesset parliament and meet with the families of hostages who have been freed from Gaza.After that he will go to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt and meet dozens of other countries’ leaders.
The summit co-chaired by Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip, step up efforts for peace and stability in the Middle East, and usher in a new phase of regional security and stability.
