PT Transportation Jakarta (
Transjakarta
) announced temporarily diverting the Genjing Market Stop starting Monday, September 8, 2025, at 05.00 WIB due to the construction of the Jakarta Integrated Raya Modatransportation (LRT).
Head of Transjakarta Department of Public Relations and CSR Ayu Wardhani said the transfer of the bus stop would last for the next month.
For Transjakarta passengers Corridor 4 Pulo Gadung-Galunggung and 4D Pulo Gadung-Kuningan corridor which usually rises or down at the Genjing Market Stop, can get off at the Temporary Non-Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) on the side of the road.
“For 1 month, customers can go up and go down at the temporary stop. The position of the temporary bus stop in the direction of Galunggung and Pulogadung is across the bus stop, under the JPO crossing bridge (JPO) or the 4C route stop (bus),” Ayu explained in Jakarta, Sunday (7/9) quoted from Antara.
Previously, Transjakarta also had a chance to shift up and down passengers at the Utan Kayu Stop to the Non BRT stop because the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT construction project route Velodrome-Manggarai.The transfer was carried out on June 27 to July 27, 2025.
As is known, the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT development project route Velodrome-Manggarai is in contact with the Transjakarta service route that crosses the Manggarai region, Central Jakarta, and surrounding areas.
Previously, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk stated that the progress of the Jakarat Phase LRT work per Friday (5/9) reached 67.122 percent, and is currently in the stage of installing the upper structural components (Slab Deck) and the Railway (Trackwork Rail).
The construction of the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT with a 6.4 kilometer (KM) track is a continuation of the Phase 1A of the two-Velodrome Pegangsaan route.
Later, LRT Jakarta Phase 1B Route Velodrome-Manggarai has five new stations, namely Rawamangun Pemuda Station, BPKP Scouts, Pramuka Market, Matraman, and Manggarai.
