A number of motorbikes were dragged by the bus
Transjakarta
Corridor 11 Pulo Gebang-Kampung Melayu route before hitting four shop houses (shophouses) in the Pulogebang area, Cakung, Friday (19/9) morning.
A resident who was at the crime scene (TKP), Ipul (35), said the motorbike that was hit was immediately dragged along with the bus.
“The motorbike is continuously dragged, the position is unclear because no one really sees from the beginning. But I see it is already at the door of the mosque,” Ipul said in Pulogebang, East Jakarta, Friday.
According to him, there were two types of Nmax and Astrea motorbikes who were victims in the incident.Some motorists also fell and suffered injuries.
“There are fathers and mothers blisters. It seems like falling from the motorbike during the drag,” said Ipul.
In addition to dragging the motorbike, the bus also crashed into a car until it was badly damaged, even briefly issued a fire.
“I think my brother’s house is just being destroyed, it turns out that the car is also dragged. It was really damaged, the back of it too,” said Ipul.
He also assumed that the Transjakarta bus engine or engine was damaged when dragging a number of motorbikes, so the brakes and steering wheel were difficult to control by the driver in a panic.
“Systematically, logically, it means the basis cannot be braking, because if possible, it has stopped, after the first crash but this is still loose. When he was asked the driver he also panicked. My guess was because I was hit by a motorcycle so systematically the car was damaged, like the brakes were difficult, the steering wheel was difficult to turn,” explained Ipul.
The car owner who was hit by the Transjakarta bus, namely Vonny (38), who claimed to have just dropped his son at Cakung Station around 05.15 WIB to go to school.
At that time, Vonny was continuing the journey back.However, suddenly he saw a Transjakarta bus emerged from behind and grazed his car until it was destroyed.
According to him, before crashing into his car, the bus had already grazed several motorcyclists.
Meanwhile, PT Transportation Jakarta (Transjakarta) apologized related to this.
Head of Transjakarta Department of Public Relations and CSR Ayu Wardhani explained that the Transjakarta bus that hit the shophouse was a bus with the Corridor 11 Pulo Gebang-Kampung Melayu route.
“Sorry for this incident. That’s right, this morning around 05.30 WIB, and involved the Steady Safe – Saf 045 operator bus. It occurred on the Corridor 11 route, near Cakung Station,” Ayu said when confirmed in Jakarta, Friday.
Furthermore, he said when the incident occurred, the bus was in service.As a result, six people were injured.
The six victims consisted of four customers, one pramudi and one resident.Nevertheless, he made sure there were no fatalities in the incident.
At present, he said all the victims had received medical treatment at Pondok Kopi Hospital.
