Claiming to convey regret over double air strikes to Nasser Hospital in the Palestinian Gaza Strip on Monday (25/8) which killed 20 people, including five journalists.
The Gaza Civil Defense Agency called the initial attack in the form of explosive drones that hit a building in the hospital area, followed by a second air strike when the injured were being evacuated.
“Israel deeply regretted the tragic incident that occurred today at the Nasser Hospital in Gaza,” Netanyahu said in a statement released by his office as quoted

“Israel appreciates the work of journalists, medical personnel, and all civilians.”
This is the latest Israeli attack that really targets the media crew after earlier this month Tel Aviv targets the tent of the journalist team

Meanwhile, the Israeli military argued that its troops were indeed targeting a “Hamas” camera in the air strike to the Nasser Hospital.
The Israeli military said the attack on the medical center was carried out after its troops “identified a camera that was installed by Hamas in the Nasser Hospital area.”
IDF troops said they “acted to eliminate threats by hitting and dismantling the camera.”
The Israeli military also claimed six of the dead individuals were “terrorists”.Tel Aviv said that the Chief of Military Staff had also ordered “further review of a number of possibilities”, including the matter of “the authorization process before the attack.”
The latest Israeli attacks reap criticism from various parties, including Israeli traditional allies, United Nations (UN), International Media, Human Rights Groups, and Foreign Press Associations based in Israel.
