The amount of the budget was listed in the book II of the Financial Note and the 2026 Draft State Budget. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani also conveyed the same thing through a press conference.
“For IKN, I might check first, Rp.6.3 trillion for IKN (in 2026),” said Sri Mulyani at the 2026 RAPBN press conference and financial notes at the DGT office, South Jakarta, Friday (15/8).

Oikn’s budget next year is also not in accordance with Basuki’s proposal during a meeting with the DPR.At that time, he explained that Oikn needed at least Rp21.18 trillion to continue the construction of the new national capital in 2026.
Basuki said the budget was needed to work on the development of the legislative and judicial complexes, reservoirs, drinking water systems, to the roads around the central government area.
“We need a budget of (indicative ceiling 2026) Rp5.05 trillion plus Rp16.13 trillion. So, which was Rp17.08 trillion to Rp21.1 trillion (budget requirements 2026),” Basuki said in the Raker and RDP with Commission II of the Indonesian Parliament in the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday (8/7).
Basuki conveyed the OIKN budget needs in 2025-2028 to reach Rp48.80 trillion.The details, Rp14.40 trillion in 2025, Rp17.08 trillion in 2026, Rp14.64 trillion in 2027, and the remaining Rp2.68 trillion for 2028.
This condition is in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Works who will stop working on the construction of the IKN.They will only complete the multiyear contract/MYC contracts that have been worked on since 2022.

The Ministry of Public Works handled the construction of IKN when Oikn was just established and has not yet fully operated.
At present, Oikn has been supported by ASN, facilities and infrastructure to be able to handle the construction of the new national capital.President Prabowo Subianto also assigned the Head of Oikn Basuki Hadimuljono to continue the construction of the IKN by focusing on the construction of the Judicial and Legislative Complex.
