After the situation heated up in Jakarta and a number of other cities in the last few days.
Alphonzus said the average transaction value in 100 malls in DKI Jakarta penetrated Rp500 billion per day.However, some time recently the transaction value is only half of the normal state.
“The transaction reduction is around 50 percent per day. Since last Friday (quiet visitors),” Alphonzus said.

Responding to the situation, President Prabowo Subianto gathered ministers at the Jakarta Presidential Palace, Sunday (8/31).He asked law enforcement officials to take firm action against violations in chaos.
“Let’s maintain national unity. Indonesia is on the threshold of the resurrection. Do not want us to be pitted by sheep. Examine aspirations peacefully, without riots, without looting, without damaging public facilities,” said Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Sunday (8/31).
