The mall is quiet
After the situation heated up in Jakarta and a number of other cities in the last few days.
Alphonzus said the average transaction value in 100 malls in DKI Jakarta penetrated Rp500 billion per day.However, some time recently the transaction value is only half of the normal state.
“The transaction reduction is around 50 percent per day. Since last Friday (quiet visitors),” Alphonzus said.

Alphonzus said the mall can still operate normally.However, entrepreneurs prioritize customer safety and comfort.
The same thing was conveyed by the Chairperson of the Indonesian Retem Association and Tenant of the Indonesian Shopping Center (Hippindo) Budihardjo Iduansjah.However, he could not mention the exact amount of losses received.

Previously, the wave of demonstrations took place in Jakarta and a number of cities in Indonesia.The demonstration was driven by residents’ anxiety over the increase in benefits and arrogant behavior of a number of DPR members.
The situation heats up after the police ran over an ojol driver, Affan Kurniawan, to death on Thursday (8/28).There was an incident of burning government and legislative buildings to looting of official homes carried out by unknown people.
Responding to the situation, President Prabowo Subianto gathered ministers at the Jakarta Presidential Palace, Sunday (8/31).He asked law enforcement officials to take firm action against violations in chaos.
“Let’s maintain national unity. Indonesia is on the threshold of the resurrection. Do not want us to be pitted by sheep. Examine aspirations peacefully, without riots, without looting, without damaging public facilities,” said Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Sunday (8/31).
