He believes the victims can be found and evacuated today, Saturday (4/10).Suharyanto also said his team continued to try to issue a concrete ruins that had begun since Friday (3/10) night.

“There are points that have been identified by Basarnas and the team there are victims. That should not be hit during cleaning,” Suharyanto said in a press conference online, Saturday (4/10) morning.
“We are sure that today there must be additional victims who followed, because the points have been identified, just taken,” he added.
Suharyanto explained that until Saturday (4/10) the number of victims died was 14 people.One additional death was found in the A4 sector or the right front side of the ruins on Friday (3/10) night.

The evacuated body was the ninth victim who was found throughout the operation on Friday (3/10) or the fifth day (H+5) search.
With this discovery, the total number of victims found was 117 people.The details, 103 survivors and 14 people died.Meanwhile, the number of victims who had not yet been found was reported as many as 49 people.
Of the total 14 victims died, 9 of them were still unidentified.Suharyanto said the victims were difficult to be recognized visually because they were discovered after a few days since the incident.
In addition, the victims are still in their children, so there is no fingerprint or KTP data that can be used to facilitate identification.
“Identification takes time, unlike if we identify other victims. Because the victims are children who are still small, their age is not yet akil baligh. So that data such as fingerprints, KTP does not yet exist,” explained Suharyanto.
According to the East Java Regional Police Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team, DNA samples of 9 bodies and samples of parents have been flown to Jakarta to be followed up in the DNA Pusdokkes Laboratory of the National Police.
