Fated Hearts tells about Jinxiu and Susha, two kingdoms that are often hostile to the battle of pathing, a big war occurred.
When the Jinxiu kingdom was on the verge of defeat in the battle of Pentling, the female archer in red, Fu Yixiao (Li Qin), fired an arrow at First Prince Susha, Feng Suige (Chen Zheyuan), reversing the state of battle.

However, Yixiao suddenly fell from a cliff.The incident made him lose his memory.At that moment, Yixiao was rescued by Ling Xueying (Xin Kaili) who came from a doctor’s family at Righteous Villa.
There, he unexpectedly met with Suige who was his main enemy.Yixiao did not remember Suige, but Prince Susha knew everything.
Seeing the chaos experienced by Yixiao, Suige concluded that it was related to the battle in Pingling.Suige wants to use Yixiao to find out the truth behind everything.

The drama was directed by director Chu Yuibun and Gu Zhiwei who had worked together to direct several hit dramas, such as Moonlight Mystique, Blossoms in Adversity, Story of Kunning Palace, The Starry Love, and The Long Ballad.
Fated Hearts were also directed by director Francis Nam based on the script written by Qing Mei (Everlasting Longing, Luoyang) the results of the adaptation of the Yixiao novel by Chi Yi Qian Yu.
