Big Demonstrations broke out in the office
Pati Regent
, Central Java on Wednesday (8/13).The mass of action asked the Pati Regent
Sudewo
withdraw from his position.
Sudewo was pelted with bottles of mineral water and sandals while meeting the mass of anger.
The chaos in Pati began because of the increase in Land and Building Tax (PBB) up to 250 percent, the policy had caused controversy until finally canceled.
However, big demonstrations today continue to run.
The Pati United Pati United Donation Coordinator, Teguh Istyanto, said that it was estimated that there were up to 100 thousand people who would take part in the demonstration.
He mentioned the demands of the masses not only because of the increase in the United Nations-which was finally canceled after being protested by residents.
He said today’s action would still be held because the community was already disappointed with the policy of the Sudewo Regent.

“The plenary meeting regarding the policy of the Pati Regent. Development at the time of the Special Committee was formed to investigate the Pati Regent’s policy,” he explained.
Responding to that, Sudewo said he would not let go of his position.He refused to resign on the grounds that the people were chosen constitutionally.
“I was chosen by the people constitutionally and democratically, so I could not stop with that demand, all of them had a mechanism,” Sudewo said at the Pati Regent’s Office, Wednesday (8/13).
