At Monas, Jakarta, Sunday (5/10) today, wearing a new field service uniform (PDL).
A number of retired TNI who wore the new PDL uniform were the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the 6th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and former TNI Commander Try Sutrisno, former TNI Commander Wiranto, former TNI Commander Andika Perkasa, former TNI Commander Hadi Tjahtanto.Then, former TNI Commander Gatot Nurmantyo.

Then, former TNI Commander Yudo Margono, former Danjen Kopasus Agum Gumelar, former KSAL Ade Supandi, former KSAL Siwi Sukma Adji, to former KSAD Mulyono.
In addition to the retirees, a number of cabinet ministers with military backgrounds were also present wearing a new TNI PDL.
They are the Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regulation of Region of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, and Minister of Transmigration Iftitah Sulaiman.All three are alumni of Tidar Valley.
This new PDL comes with a different color style from the old PDL.This new uniform comes with brighter colors and stripes.
Deputy TNI Commander General Tandyo Budi Revita said the change in the field uniform was a direct direction from the TNI Commander.
The latest PDL uniform carries a new motif, replacing the old camouflage namely Loreng Malvinas which was used since 1982 ago.
Tandyo said the new motif was designed to be more effective in disguise, especially when serving in a particular forest or field of operation.
“Now, the name is the old Loreng Malvinas, from 1982. That is the first. The second, (its function), so if we enter the forest and so on, this is more disguised,” Tandyo said at the Ministry of Defense Office, Jakarta, Wednesday (1/10).
