The decision to remove Sahroni was stated through the Nasdem Party Faction Letter Number 758 related to the change of the names of members of Commission I and III of the DPR.The letter was signed by Nasdem Faction Chair Viktor Laiskodat as well as Sahroni as the Treasurer of the Faction, dated August 29, 2025.
Through the letter, Sahroni was now transferred as a member of Commission I. Meanwhile, the position of Deputy Chairman of Commission III which he left was filled by Rusdi Masse Mappasessu.
Secretary General of the NasDem Party Hermawi Taslim was reluctant to call it a removal.According to him, the letter was only ordinary rotation, and refreshment.
“Only routine rotation, there is no removal. Only refreshment,” Hermawi said when confirmed, Friday (29/8).
Hermawi also denied the removal of Sahroni in his recent statement that had drawn criticism.According to him, the substitution of Sahroni pure ordinary rotation.
The House of Representatives Commission III is in charge of security affairs with one of its partners.Recently, a number of Sahroni’s statements continued to reap the public spotlight, especially related to student demonstrations and elements of civil society.
