Sahroni stated that the Attorney General’s Office must immediately implement a court decision that has been permanent legal force alias inkracht.
He hopes that the prosecutor’s office will act in accordance with the corridor of the law in force in this case.
Silfester was charged with a case of alleged defamation and slander.He was reported by Solihin Kalla who was a child of Jusuf Kalla in 2017 related to his words in a speech.
In his speech, Silfester accused Jusuf Kalla of using the SARA issue in winning the Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno pair in the 2017 DKI Jakarta Regional Election.
Silfester was sentenced to 1 year in prison on July 30, 2018. The verdict was strengthened at the appeal level which was read on October 29, 2018. At the cassation level, the panel of judges aggravated Silfester’s sentence to be a sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison.
But until now the decision of the Cassation Panel of Judges has not yet been executed.The latest, Silfester actually submitted a request for a review (PK) at the South Jakarta District Court.Until now there has been no statement and response from Silfester related to Sahroni’s statement.
Former Head of South Jakarta District Attorney Anang Supriatna revealed the reason Silfester Matutina was not executed when the inkrah case in 2019.
Anang, who now serves as the Head of the Legal Information Center of the Prosecutor’s Office, claims that when he was still serving Kajari had issued a warrant for the execution.
However, he and his staff experienced obstacles because the person concerned was lost, then Indonesia was hit by Pandemi Covid-19.
