The peace agreement related to the results of the X-PPP Congress was announced at the Ministry of Law Office on Monday (6/10) and was attended by Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas.

Rommy said that Islah’s decision was based on an agreement and compromise from both parties.He mentioned that in the politics of agreement and compromise is far more valuable than the existing written regulations.
“In politics, compromise and agreement of the parties, it is located above the regulations. Because basically, the regulations are made as a massage point,” he said in a written statement, Tuesday (7/10).
He claimed to welcome the decision of Islah that had been taken.Moreover, he said, the aim was to be immediately achieved peace and there were no members of the DPRD and DPC/DPC PPP who were fired by the dualism of leadership.
Rommy is also grateful to the Ministry of Law for facilitating and providing a way out quickly related to the problem of dualism that had occurred in PPP.
On the other hand, he did not dismiss if this Islah decision would not be satisfying and made all PPP cadres.It’s just that, Rommy asked not to be continued through a legal process or a lawsuit to PTUN.
Rommy then invited all PPP cadres to focus on internal consolidation in order to restore public confidence.
“As the Chairperson of the PPP 2020-2025 Advisory Council, I invite all PPP functionaries and cadres throughout Indonesia to welcome and be grateful for this Ishlah agreement,” he said.
“On behalf of the extended family of PPP, I also apologize to all Indonesian people, for the uproar during the past week that had spread in the media due to the X PPP Conference,” he added.
Previously Muhamad Mardiono and Agus Suparmanto took the path of Islah or peace after dualism of their leadership based on the results of the X PPP Congress in Ancol, Jakarta, 26-27 last September.
Through the agreement, Mardiono was officially approved as Chairperson of PPP for the 2025-2030 period and Agus as Deputy Chairperson.Meanwhile, in the position of the Secretary General filled with Taj Yasin and the General Treasurer there is Imam Fauzan Amir.
“Today I issued a new Minister of Law Decree where Pak Haji Muhammad Mardiono remained the General Chairperson of PPP, then Mr. Agus became Deputy Chairperson, then Mr. Gus Taj Yasin became Secretary General and Fauzan became the General Treasurer,” Supratman said.
