ordered Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin to prepare two units of Hercules aircraft, to reduce food assistance to
Gaza Strip
, Palestine.
“So the President asked the Minister of Defense yesterday to prepare two Hercules to be involved in the Air Drop operation,” said PCO Head Hasan Nasbi, Jakarta, Thursday (7/8).
In addition, Prabowo also ordered to provide medical assistance for around two thousand Gazans who were victims of the war.
Hasan said the victims of the war would get treatment centered on Galang, Riau Islands.
“Because on Galang Island there are hospital facilities, including other supporting facilities that can be able to treat around two thousand Gazans,” he said.
Then, the Galang Island will also accommodate the family of war victims in Gaza.
Not only that, Hasan said Prabowo also stated that RI was ready to send peace troops to Gaza.
