Meanwhile, North Aceh District Government Spokesperson Muntasir Ramli confirmed the letter.He said the Regent made the decision after seeing firsthand the impact of the damage that had occurred.

The Regent has directly monitored the area, even penetrated the most isolated areas to see directly the community and the impact of the devastating floods that devastated 90 percent of the North Aceh area,” said Muntasir when contacted.

Damage to public facilities, namely 102 offices, 11 places of worship, 120 schools, 7 bridges and 20,823 houses of North Aceh residents were damaged.
