Officially imposed sanctions on the Malaysian Football Association (FAM) and seven naturalization players.The following are the reasons FIFA Law FAM and 7 Malaysian national team players on Friday (9/26).
Friday, September 26, became a ‘sacred Friday’ for the Malaysian national team.The reason, ‘Like Lightning in broad daylight’ on Friday night, surprisingly FIFA announced severe punishment for FAM and seven Malaysian national team players.
FIFA officially punished FAM and seven naturalized Malaysian national team players on the grounds that the seven players used the documents that were falsified so that they could be naturalized in order to defend the Malaysian national team.

, the seven players were proven by violating Article 22 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code (FDC) related to counterfeiting and use of fake documents.
The seven players who can be sentenced by FIFA are Gabriel Felipe Arrocha, Facundo Tomás Garcés, Rodrigo Julián Holgado, Imanol Javier Machuca, João Vitor Brandão Figueiredo, Jon Irazábal Iraurgui, and Hectors Alejandro Hevers Hevel Serrano.
The seven players were prohibited from participating in all activities related to football for 12 months, valid from the date of the decision notification, Friday (9/26) night.
The seven players were also fined by CHF 2,000 or around Rp41.8 million.The FIFA Disciplinary Committee also imposed sanctions on the Malaysian Football Association (FAM) in the form of a fine of CHF 350,000 or around Rp7.3 billion.
