confident that the government funding of Rp200 trillion to commercial banks will boost growth
credit
in a month.
However, he acknowledged the impact of the policy on credit has not been seen until now.
“The data has not yet come out, only two weeks (funds are disbursed). Later, if it’s a month, it will be seen (credit growth),” he said in a media briefing at the Ministry of Finance, Central Jakarta, Friday (9/26).

However, he said the funding of Rp200 trillion had begun to feel the effect on the decline in deposit interest rates as protested by the famous lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea.
“I think the system has felt that it should. Already starting to the passion began to appear.
Purbaya previously moved the state money of Rp200 trillion which had been settled in Bank Indonesia (BI) to be washed down to a commercial bank.
The money transferred by the government is the remaining budget (SAL) and the remaining budget financing (SILPA) that has been stored in BI.
Purbaya said that the government’s money settled in the central bank was in the range of Rp425 trillion to Rp440 trillion.
Purbaya said that the Rp200 trillion state money would be washed down to five banks.Among these are PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Rp55 trillion), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Rp55 trillion), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (Rp55 trillion), PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (Rp25 trillion), and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (Rp10 trillion).
This was stated in the Decree of the Minister of Finance (KMK) Number 276 of 2025 concerning Placement of State Money in the context of managing excess and cash shortcomings to support the implementation of government programs in encouraging economic growth.The regulation was signed by Minister of Purbaya Minister of Finance on September 12, 2025.
