Acknowledging that the momentum when his wife, Kate Middleton, and his father, King Charles III, was diagnosed with cancer were the toughest moments in his life.

Raja Charles III was announced to be diagnosed with cancer in February 2024. Meanwhile, Kate Middleton was announced to get cancer a month later, namely in March 2024. Both then underwent treatment separately.
Prince William also said that his life changed immediately when Kate Middleton and King Charles III were diagnosed with cancer in adjacent times.
Moreover, he originally assumed that his family was fairly healthy and fit, remembering his grandfather, Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth II, a long life.
