In the ASEAN Human Development Conference 2025 event, Wednesday (10/9), Pratikno said a number of Asta Cita Prabowo programs had experienced significant progress from 4 September 2025.
The programs include free health checks, hospital improvements in the area, stunting prevention programs, to free nutritional meals (MBG).
“As of September 4, 2025, or last week, more than 24 million people had a health check. The purpose of this program was to prevent diseases that could be prevented, alleviating household costs, and increasing national productivity,” Pratikno said at ASEAN Secretariat, Wednesday (10/9).
Pratikno said that as many as 66 hospitals in various regions of Indonesia are currently in the process of class improvement, which are declared to be completed in 2026.As many as 25 hospitals are also being processed for infrastructure.
Then, regarding the decline in stunting prevalence, Pratikno said that the government targeted to reduce the prevalence of stunting to around 14.2 percent by the end of 2029. At 2023, the prevalence of stunting in the country reached 21.5 percent.
As of 2024, Indonesia has reached 19.8 percent, which means it still needs around 7.3 percent to reach the target of 14.2 percent.
“The fourth program is free nutritious eating. This is a program aimed at increasing nutrition, health, and development for school children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers,” said Pratikno.
“As of September 4, 2025, this program has reached 20 million students,” he continued.
In the education sector, the Asta Cita Prabowo program is also said to have experienced significant progress.The programs include revitalization of schools, Garuda Superior High Schools, People’s Schools, and digitalization of education.
Pratikno noted that 10,931 schools throughout Indonesia were in the process of renovation and revitalization.Then, in 2029, 100 Garuda Superior Schools are planned to operate throughout Indonesia.
In the field of digitalization of education, more than 288 thousand smart tv units are being distributed throughout Indonesia to support online learning.At the end of 2025, all schools are planned to have a smart TV to support teaching and learning activities.
