in Jakarta last week.
“There were 716 people who were victims of demonstrations, outside the National Police, at the National Police separately,” Pramono said at City Hall, Monday (1/9).
All medical and maintenance costs of hundreds of victims will be borne by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
“More than 700 all costs are fully borne by the DKI Jakarta Regional Government,” he said.
On the other hand, Pramono also mentioned that there were 2,829 schools in Jakarta implementing an online distance learning system (PJJ).
“The Education Office has decided that there are 2,829 schools that have studied online. Then the 2,439 schools are luring, and the hybrid 346 schools,” he said.
This policy is taken so that the education process continues, but still pays attention to student safety and comfort.
“Why is this done? Because after all so that the education process in Jakarta is not disturbed,” he said.
Previously, Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri said there were 1,240 people arrested by anarchist acts during the demonstration in the Jakarta area.
“From the beginning of the incident until now has captured around 1,240 yes, which they came from outside Jakarta, some from West Java, some from Java from Banten,” Asep said at the City Hall, Monday (1/9).
Asep said that his party had also detected the perpetrators of destruction and looting in the series of demonstrations.
“We have detected, already, just wait for us to make firm action, arrest, please pray that everything can go well,” he said.
