said there was a research from the University of Oxford that showed the highest income per capita Dutch imperialism when colonizing the territory of the archipelago or Indonesia.
He called the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita Dutch imperialism at that time was the highest in his time.
“Research from Oxford University tells us that they, the Netherlands holding and occupying Indonesia as long as they sit on Indonesia, the Nusantara GDP per capita their highest in the world,” Prabowo said in his speech about the 2026 APBN Bill in the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Friday (15/8).
Prabowo said that this shows who holds Indonesia’s wealth, so it has the potential to perform with a very high GDP per capita.
Prabowo said that Indonesia’s wealth has the potential to bring this country to be one of three or four of the largest countries in the world.
Prabowo also said that he and his staff were trying to do it.
“And that is what we are aiming for, we must master, control defending and managing all the wealth of the Indonesian people,” he said.
