claimed not to question the existence of parties outside the government.He said the government needed criticism and supervision.
This was conveyed by Prabowo in his speech at the Indonesian MPR Annual Session at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Friday (8/15).
“Please those outside the government there is no problem, thank you. We need correction, we need supervision, we need criticism,” Prabowo said.
Prabowo asked parties outside the government not to stop giving criticism, although according to him, the criticism conveyed was sometimes suffocating.
“Although sometimes criticism is suffocating too, but there is no problem do not stop criticism,” he said.
On that occasion, Prabowo said Indonesia could be called a failure as an independent country if the people were not prosperous.He also asked all parties to work together for the welfare of the people.
“The people must be prosperous, if the people are not prosperous, I say we fail as an independent state, we will succeed as an independent state if our people are as severe, therefore let us work together, we are different, but one of our goals,” he said.
In a speech, Prabowo also claimed to succeed in preventing state losses through budget efficiency.He emphasized that this efficiency was in line with what was ordered by Article 33 paragraph 4 of the Indonesian Constitution (Constitution).
“In 2025 this has been identified and saved Rp300 trillion from the state budget that we, we see prone to be missed,” Prabowo said.
According to the agenda obtained, the first speech was delivered at 10:00 WIB.Prabowo delivered a report on the results of the Red and White Cabinet performance that had been running for almost 10 months.
Meanwhile, the second state speech will be delivered at 14.57 WIB.In this second speech, Prabowo will deliver an introduction or information on the 2026 Budget Year Bill along with the financial memorandum and supporting documents.
