“The officers involved must be responsible, if they are found to act outside of propriety and the applicable provisions we will take action as hard as possible according to the applicable law,” Prabowo said in a video.
Prabowo ordered that the incident be thoroughly investigated and transparent.
He claimed to be disappointed with the actions of the police who were considered excessive in yesterday’s demonstration.
Prabowo also expressed his sorrow over the death of Affan.He said that he was sorry.
The wave of people’s demonstrations in Jakarta heats up the last two days.The action led to a clash between the apparatus and the pedemo.
Stone throwing and firecrackers from the pedemo are rewarded with tear gas shots and water canon spray.

“Earlier we expressed their condolences and apologized from our institutions for the disaster that occurred and of course we also met with the environment, there were mosque administrators, there were (management) RW,” Sigit said at a press conference at the Jakarta RSCM, Friday (29/8) early morning hrs.
Meanwhile, Kadiv Propam Polri Inspector General Abdul Karim said that he had secured seven members from the Brimob Unit and carried out an examination.He ensured that the investigation process would be transparent against the perpetrators at the Metro Jaya Police Satbrimob Mako.
“The seven (perpetrators), first rank Kompol C, Aipda M, Bripka R, Bripda D, Bripda M, Bharaka Y, and Bharaka J,” Abdul Karim said at a press conference at RSCM, Central Jakarta, Thursday (8/28) night.
The testimony of an Affan friend said that the deceased was not taking action, but was delivering food orders.
