Andi Gani said the material discussion with Prabowo about the current situation and political conditions of the country.Workers asserted that they would oppose the rioters who tried to disrupt Indonesia’s political and economic stability.
“We support a peaceful demonstration. But we emphasize, we oppose rioters who try to disrupt political and economic stability in Indonesia,” Andi Gani said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Central Jakarta, Monday night (1/9) quoted by Detik Finance.
Andi Gani said that the government promised that several plans were immediately discussed, starting from the asset grabbing bill to the Manpower Bill.
According to him, DPR Speaker Puan Maharani who was present at the meeting last night, stated his commitment to continue the promise of the discussion of the law.
“Therefore the president promised that the democratic space was maintained. And he promised the first, the asset grabbing bill was immediately discussed. And also the employment bill requested by the workers, he asked the Speaker of the DPR to be immediately discussed immediately by the parties, and agreed to be discussed immediately,” explained Andi Gani.
Meanwhile, Said Iqbal suggested that demonstrations must still be given space, even though the action should not be accompanied by violence.Prabowo is said to have accepted the advice.
“Because it is the only way for the lower group, labor groups, farmers groups, fishermen groups, student groups, and small people to convey aspirations when formal institutions, quotation marks, are slow or do not want to hear what is the aspirations of the lower group,” he said.
