President Prabowo Subianto will announce and inaugurate
Deputy Commander of the TNI
During the ceremony of the Military Operational and Honorary Forces at PusdiklatPassu, Batujajar, West Bandung Regency, Sunday (10/8).
Head of the TNI Information Center (Kapuspen) Maj. Gen. Kristomei Sianturi said that the inaugurated figure would get a four -star rank.
“So, I say, for August 10th there will indeed be an inauguration or inauguration of the Deputy Commander of the TNI. For, who will be? We wait for the 10th, inaugurated directly by the President,” Kristomei said in West Bandung, Friday (8/8).
Kristomei ensured that the Deputy Commander of the TNI would later be filled with the one in accordance with the new Perpres 84 of 2025 as a revision of Presidential Regulation Number 66 of 2019.

Prabowo officially issued number 84 of 2025 concerning Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 66 of 2019 concerning the Organizational Structure of the Indonesian National Army.
Through the Presidential Regulation Prabowo also made the Commander of the Navy Corps of the Navy, Commander of the Army Special Forces Command (Kopassus), and the Commander of the Air Force Movement (Kopasgat) Corps of the Air Force as a high -star TNI TNIR officer.
The Perpres changed the naming of the leadership of the Marine Corps, Kopassus, and Kopasgat which was originally called the “Commander General” with the rank of two -star into “Commander Commander” with a three -star rank.The provisions are contained in Article 59A paragraph (2), Article 59B paragraph (2), and Article 59C paragraph (3), as well as the Appendix Section of Presidential Regulation No.84/2025.
