Becoming Deputy Minister of Manpower replaces
Immanuel Ebenezer
Alias Noel involved in a case of alleged extortion of the issuance of Occupational Safety and Health Certificate (K3).
The inauguration was carried out at the State Palace on Wednesday (9/17) afternoon.
“For the sake of Allah I swear that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all the laws and regulations with their severity for the sake of Darma Bakti to the nation and the state that I in carrying out the duties and positions will uphold ethics and positions to work as well as possible and full of responsibility,” Prabowo said by the oath followed by Ferry at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (17/9).
This inauguration was based on Presidential Decree Number 96/P of 2025 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Minister and Deputy Minister of the State Minister for the Red and White Cabinet for 2024-2029 on September 17, 2025.
Ferry has a long track record in politics and government seats.He joined the Crescent Star Party (PBB) since 1998.
He also served as Deputy Minister of Manpower in President Jokowi’s administration in 2022 to 2024.
The Deputy Minister of Manpower has been empty for the past month.The emptiness occurred after President Prabowo dismissed Immanuel Ebenezer alias Noel from his position as the Vice Report.
The decision was taken after the KPK’s steps to determine Noel to be a suspect in corruption in the management of K3 certificates in the Ministry of Manpower.
Noel is known to be netted by the KPT OTT because it is suspected of receiving Rp3 billion and a Ducati motorbike unit.
He received the money and motorbike regarding the alleged extortion of obtaining a K3 certificate at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker).
