Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said the inauguration process would be carried out before the cleaning of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Merdeka Palace.
“The plan is on the 13th (August). (Inauguration) before the rehearsal,” he told reporters after the courtyard of the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday (12/8).
Prasetyo said that later the rehearsal or training process will continue to be carried out until the last Thursday (8/14).
He said the adjustment of a series of activities and evaluations was also carried out in order to be able to display the best during the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.
“The name is still dirty rehearsal so it is not yet perfect, while we also evaluate which ones we need to fix it,” he said.
On that occasion, Prasetyo said there would be a new concept in the celebration of the Republic of Indonesia Anniversary this year.Even so, he did not specify a new concept that would be a surprise later.
The 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia was the first time after President Prabowo Subianto was officially inaugurated on October 20, 2024.He claimed to want a warning ceremony to be held simply in Jakarta.
In his celebration, Prabowo also provides an opportunity for the general public to follow the commemoration of the seconds of the proclamation at the Merdeka Palace.
Deputy Minister of State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro said the government allocated around 80 percent of the 8 thousand invited guests for the general public.
