Prabowo conveyed that in front of the regents when they were present at the inauguration ceremony of Apkasi Autonomy Expo 2025 at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Thursday (8/28).
“So the efficiency should not be interpreted as a deduction (funds) of regional transfers. There are regional transfers directly and some are indirect, but everything is for the region,” Prabowo said.
Prabowo said the central government remained committed to allocating large funds for the regions.
He said this year the regional transfer that entered the villages reached Rp171 trillion, while next year the number would increase to Rp335 trillion through the MBG program.
“MBG is in the villages, MBG is in the sub-districts, MBG is in the regencies and what we sent to the regions this year is Rp171 trillion which will enter the villages, next year we budget Rp330 trillion, the Minister of Finance? The Rp335 trillion is entering all villages,” he said.
Prabowo explained that the free nutritious eating program targeted tens of millions of Indonesian children and pregnant women.The number of recipients of this program also continues to increase until the end of this year.
According to him, this program received the spotlight from the wider world.Prabowo also compared with the experience of other countries, namely Brazil which took up to 11 years to reach 40 million beneficiaries.Whereas Indonesia is claimed to have succeeded in surpassing it in a shorter time thanks to the use of technology.
