Suddenly summoned a number of Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet to his private residence in Hambalang, West Java on Tuesday (19/8) night discussed the development of the control of forest and illegal mines.

Through the meeting, Prabowo asked for developments related to controlling illegal forest and mining areas to his staff.
“This discussion is in line with President Prabowo’s statement in a state speech at the MPR Annual Session as well as a joint session of the DPR and DPD RI,” he wrote.
In his speech at the MPR Annual Session on August 15, Prabowo stressed that he would curb mining activities that violated the rules.
He claimed to have pocketed reports from the authorities, so far there were around 1,063 illegal mines.
“And the potential for wealth produced by 1,063 illegal is reported that the potential loss of the state is a minimum of Rp300 trillion,” Prabowo said at the MPR Annual Session, Friday (8/15).
Prabowo also gave a stern warning to the General to the former TNI General and the police who supported illegal mines.
He reminded that the government did not hesitate to take action against law violators, no matter who was behind him.
“Are there big people, strong people. Generals from anywhere whether the general from the TNI or the police or former generals there is no reason, we will act on behalf of the people,” he said.
