Claiming to be transparent in investigating the case of Affan Kurniawan’s online motorcycle taxi driver (Ojol) who was killed as a result of being crushed by a Brimob Rantis car.
Karo Penmas Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said that his party would also involve external parties in the investigation of this case.
“Yes, it will be transparent and objective, involving external parties and we continue to straighten all parties related to this problem we will process, there is nothing we cover up,” Trunoyudo said when contacted on Friday (29/8).
Trunoyudo said, currently seven members of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Mobile Brigade in the Rantis car were in the Propam Police Division for further examination.
“The results of the Kadiv Propam confirmation that seven Brimob members have now been in the National Police Headquarters in the context of the examination,” he said.
Ojol driver Affan Kurniawan became a victim in a demonstration at the Parliament Building which led to Ricuh, Thursday (8/28).Affan was killed by a Rantis car that walked fast in the middle of a crowd.
National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo conveyed an apology after the incident and claimed to be responsible.
“Earlier we expressed their condolences and apologized from our institutions for the disaster that occurred and of course we also met with the environment, there were mosque administrators, there were (management) RW,” Sigit said at a press conference at the Jakarta RSCM, Friday (29/8) early morning hrs.
Meanwhile, Kadiv Propam Polri Inspector General Abdul Karim said that he had secured seven members from the Brimob Unit and carried out an examination.He ensured that the investigation process would be transparent against the perpetrators at the Metro Jaya Police Satbrimob Mako.
“The seven (perpetrators), first rank Kompol C, Aipda M, Bripka R, Bripda D, Bripda M, Bharaka Y, and Bharaka J,” Abdul Karim said at a press conference at RSCM, Central Jakarta, Thursday (8/28) night.
