In the Satya Haprabu Hall, the Metro Jaya Police Directorate of Criminal Investigation Building.
The community can directly come to the post location or contact the complaint service number at 0812-8559-9191 which is active for 24 hours.
Head of Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Brigadier General Ade Ary, explained that the post was prepared to make it easier for the community to report missing people as well as a center for coordination with related stakeholders.
“This complaint post operates 24 hours. We urge people who lose family members or relatives to immediately report, both directly to the post or through the hotline number that has been prepared,” Ade Ary said when confirmed, Saturday (9/13).
In addition to receiving reports, officers at the post are also ready to provide the latest information related to the discovery or identification of victims, as well as coordinating with the hospital and other relevant agencies.
“Polda Metro Jaya hopes that the existence of this post can help speed up the search process and provide certainty for families who are waiting for news of loved ones,” he said.
Previously, the commission for missing persons and victims of criminal acts of violence (contrast) received a total of 44 reports of missing persons related to a series of demonstrations at the end of August.
Of that number, as many as 33 people were classified as victims of enforced disappearance by the state.
Until Friday (12/9), there were still three people who were unknown.They are on behalf of Bima Permana Putra (the last location in Glodok, West Jakarta) and M. Farhan Hamid and Reno Syahputeradewo with the last location at Brimob headquarters, Central Jakarta.
