amounting to Rp672 trillion as of July 2025, although amidst the pressure of world oil prices.
Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Simon Aloysius said financial performance remained positive in the midst of various challenges because of various efforts made by the company in the half of this year.
“Pertamina keeps positive financial performance until July 2025, despite facing a significant decline in parameters in the price of crude oil, diesel or diesel, and the US dollar exchange rate compared to the 2024 period,” Simon said at the Working Meeting of the House of Representatives Commission VI, Thursday (11/9).
This revenue is in line with the Company’s contribution to the state through tax, dividends and non -tax state revenues (PNBP), which are recorded highest among other state -owned enterprises (BUMN) companies.
“Until July 2025, the contribution had reached Rp225.6 trillion, making Pertamina the largest contributor to and between, as well as the largest tax contributor BUMN,” he explained.
From the operational side, Pertamina noted several achievements, including, the findings of new oil and gas reserves were 724 million barrel oil equivalent in the Rokan work area.Second, the first sustainable aviation fuel production in Southeast Asia with a capacity of 9 thousand barrels per day.
Third, the Arun tank revitalization project with a capacity of 127,200 m³, which is targeted to be completed in 2025. Fourth, the operation of the Lumut Earth Geothermal Power Plant with a capacity of 800 GWH.
Fifth, launching Pertamax Green 95 at 160 outlets with a sales volume of 4.83 thousand kiloliters until July 2025.
“And of course, the target for completing RDMP Balikpapan, we will try to start on November 10, 2025, and it is hoped that on November 17, 2025 it will operate with a minimum capacity,” he explained.
In addition, Pertamina is also committed to continuing to encourage government programs, among others through the procurement of one price of fuel at 573 points with a total distribution volume of 2.6 million kiloliters, Pertalite, LPG 3 kg to other programs such as AVTUR discount of 10 percent in the holiday period.
“With this contribution, Pertamina not only maintains energy security, but also strengthens its role in the national economy,” concluded Simon.
