Responds to Budi Gunawan’s removal from the seat of the Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security (

Bima admitted that PDIP had a closeness with the former Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).However, he considered the change of cabinet was entirely the president’s prerogative.
“There is no seeing what, we must respect the prerogative of the president,” said Bima, his nickname in the Parliament Complex, Tuesday (9/9).
Bima added that the general chairman Megawati Soekarnoputri had also confirmed the attitude of her party to be outside the government.Even so, he said, PDIP will still support Prabowo’s government.
“We fully support Pak Prabowo’s government. But our political positioning is not in the executive circle. And the figure of a Pak Budi Gunawan is a figure who PDI is very respectful with his competence,” he said.
He said his party also did not want to interfere even though the position of the Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security after the death of BG has not been filled by other people.According to him, it is an executive domain.
According to Bima, PDIP is a strategic partner so that it will not interfere in the executive area.With that position, PDIP will only be involved in national and state issues.
“If the PDIP is clear as a strategic partner. If the tactical partner is not involved there. Strategic what is anyway, yes about the Republic of Indonesia, yes about Pancasila, diversity, pluralism, alignments with the cilik,” said Bima.
Prabowo has conducted a reshuffle, one of them by removing BG as the Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security, Monday (8/9).However, the President has not appointed his successor.
Minister of Defense (Minister of Defense) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin was reportedly appointed as Coordinating Minister for Polkam AD Interim or temporary.
Sjafrie is also scheduled to meet with the Polkam Kemenko official this afternoon, Tuesday (9/9).The agenda of the Sjafrie meeting has also been received by the media crew.
