Mali U-23 star Sekou Kone praised
U-23 Indonesian National Team
after matching his team in the second international test match at Pakansari Stadium, Tuesday (18/11).
Indonesia conceded first to Mali through Sekou Kone’s goal in the 11th minute.Mauro Zijlstra made the score 1-1 in the 38th minute.
Rafael Struick gave Indonesia a 2-1 lead in the 53rd minute.However, Kone scored again for Mali in the 70th minute which changed the final score to 2-2.

In this second match, the tactical changes implemented by coach Indra Sjafri were quite troublesome for Mali.Game-wise, Indonesia’s performance this time was different from the first match when they lost 0-3.
This was acknowledged by Manchester United’s young star, Sekou Kone, who scored two goals against Garuda Muda.
“I think they weren’t too bad. They played well,” said Kone after the match.
Kone also felt the changes in the player composition and formation scheme carried out by the Red and White Team.In the second leg, Mauro Zilstra cs’ game looked more fluid with more effective attacks.
“They changed the team. They are a good team. I am serious about being here,” said Kone.
Kone was also impressed by the thousands of spectators who came to Pakansari Stadium.This is the second time Kone has played in Indonesia.Previously, Kone appeared with Mali in the U-17 World Cup in 2023.
“This is not the first time I have been here. I see a lot of people here,” said Kone.
