MKD previously presented witnesses and experts in the case of alleged ethical violations of five DPR members who were suspended following the demonstration wave 25-31 August 2025, Monday (3/11).
In their statements, witnesses and experts denied the issue of increasing DPR salaries when members danced at the MPR annual session and the DPD-DPR Joint Session last August 15.
“To the best of your knowledge, was there any discussion on increasing DPR salaries and allowances on the agenda for the session on August 15 2025?”Deputy Chairman of the MKD Adang Daradjatun said in the hearing.
“Then the question of whether there was any discussion of salary increases, there was none at all during the August 15 session,” said Deputy for DPR Sessions, Suprihatini.
“So there was no discussion about that?”Adang said.
“Nothing noble.”
The five DPR members in question are Ahmad Sahroni and Nafa Urbach from the NasDem faction, Uya Kuya and Eko Patrio from PAN, and Adies Kadir from Golkar.
In contrast to Uya Kuya and Eko who were deactivated because of their dancing in court, Sahroni, Nafa and Adies were deactivated because of their statements regarding demonstrations and the issue of allowances.
The five alleged ethical violations were each recorded in cases Number 39/PP/IX/2025, 41/PP/IX/2025, 42/PP/IX/2025, 44/PP/IX/2025, and 49/PP/IX/2025.
