It is expected to play when the Red and White team against Kuwait and Lebanon in a trial match in Surabaya in September.This was revealed by PSSI Chairperson Erick Thohir.
PSSI Chairperson Erick Thohir said that his party hoped that Miliano Jonathan could strengthen the Indonesian national team in a trial match first before appearing in the fourth round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

PSSI will hold a triangular trial match followed by the Indonesian national team, Kuwait, and Lebanon at the Bung Tomo Gelora Stadium, Surabaya on 2 to 8 September.
This event was held as a warm -up forum for the Indonesian national team before appearing in the fourth round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The first match Kuwait will be against Lebanon at the Bung Tomo Gelora Stadium on September 2.
The second match, the Indonesian national team will fight Kuwait at the Bung Tomo Gelora Stadium on September 5.
Whereas in the third match, the Indonesian national team will fight Lebanon at the Bung Tomo Gelora Stadium on September 8.
After that the Indonesian national team will perform in the fourth round of 2026 World Cup qualifiers. This event will take place on 8-14 October 2025.
The Indonesian national team will face two matches against Saudi Arabia and Iraq in the fourth round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The match will take place in Saudi Arabia as the host, which has been set previously, in the home tournament that takes place single leg.Thus Indonesia will only compete twice.
