KPK Set 5 suspects in the Jepara Artha Bank case

“In the investigation phase, the KPK has conducted an examination of witnesses, experts, searching in several locations of houses or offices and confiscation of goods, assets, money. The KPK then named five people as suspects,” said the Acting Deputy for Action and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu in a press conference at his office, Jakarta, Thursday (9/18) night.
The five suspects are the President Director of PT BPR Jepara Artha Jhendik Handoko;Director of Business and Operational BPR Jepara Artha Iwan Nursusetyo;Head of Business, Literacy and Financial Inclusion Division of BPR Jepara Artha Ahmad Nasir;Head of Credit Section BPR Jepara Artha Ariyanto Sulistiyono;and Director of PT Bumi Benefits Gemilang (BMG) Mohammad Ibrahim Al’asyari.
“The suspects were then detained for the first 20 days, from September 18, 2025 to 7 October 2025. The detention was carried out in the KPK Branch Detention Center,” said Asep.
In the process of retaining the suspects, the KPK said there was one of the suspects who was arrested forcibly in Semarang because it was not cooperative in fulfilling the investigator’s summons.In addition, there is also one other suspect attending the examination not according to the scheduled time.
Furthermore, during the process of running the investigator had confiscated a lot of evidence that was allegedly related to the case.Starting from the assets used as collateral 40 fictitious debtors as many as 136 land or buildings, equivalent to around Rp60 billion.
Then Jhendik Handoko’s assets were in the form of Rp1.3 billion, 4 SUV cars (Toyota Fortuner and Honda CRV) and 2 land fields.
Furthermore, Mohammad Ibrahim Al’asyari’s asset was in the form of Rp. 11.5 billion, 1 land area, 1 unit of SUV (Toyota Fortuner), and Ahmad Nasir’s assets in the form of 1 land land and 1 unit of motorcycle.
“The process of calculating state financial losses is being carried out by BPK RI, it is known that the value of state losses that occur in this case is at least Rp254 billion (debit tray + interest arrears),” said Asep.
The suspects are suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of the Law on the Eradication of Corruption Crimes Junctional 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
