Calling his party for a hearing at the House of Representatives Commission III related to the arrest of the East Kolaka Regent, Abdul Azis.
“If it is invited we will come, what must be feared, as long as we do the right acts for the benefit of this nation and country,” said Tanak at Hasanuddin University, Makassar, Monday (11/8).
Tanak said the KPK must obey the applicable regulations.According to him, the KPK was never afraid to attend the Indonesian Parliament if invited.
“The country’s money is from the people that should be used for the people. This we do this, so that there is no more corruption, no one else abusing the people’s money,” he said.
Johanis explained the Terminology of Operation Catching Hands (OTT) which had become the question of the Nasdem Party when his cadre who was the Regent of East Kolaka, Abdul Azis was arrested while attending the National Working Meeting in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Friday (8/8) yesterday.
“OTT is one of the actions carried out based on the rule of law called the Criminal Procedure Law Book. It is said, the act of being caught red -handed, if then he is there, or elsewhere, which is clear we will do when getting preliminary information,” he said.
Nevertheless, said Johanis, his party is still continuing to develop a case of alleged corruption in the construction of a hospital that ensnared involving the East Kolaka Regent, Abdul Azis.
“The point is that as long as there are still indications we will brush all the time, do not let them take public money. OTT is one of the actions carried out based on the rule of law called the Criminal Procedure Law,” he said.
Chairman of Nasdem Surya Paloh asked the Nasdem Faction at the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) to summon the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) after East Kolaka Regent Abdul Azis was netted by the Catching Operation (OTT).
Surya Paloh instructed this to be held to hear to clarify the purpose of the KPT KPT.
“I instructed the Nasdem Faction to ask that Commission III call the KPK to hear the opinion, so that the name of the Terminology of OTT, specifically this OTT terminology, can be clarified by us together,” Paloh said in the National Working Meeting Nasdem, Friday (8/8).
