The clarification agenda is in conjunction with the request schedule for the former Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Nadiem Makarim in the investigation of alleged corruption in the procurement of Google Cloud.
“Right,” said KPK Deputy Chairman Fitroh Rohcahyanto when confirmed through a written message on Wednesday (6/8).
KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo also confirmed the clarification agenda of the Yaqut.
“We confirm that it will be a request for information to the person concerned this week,” Budi said in his office, Jakarta, Wednesday.
Budi explained that the process of investigating the alleged corruption of the Hajj quota was very well.A number of parties including from the internal Ministry of Religion and the Hajj and Umrah tour management agent have been questioned.
For this reason, he hoped that Yaqut and a number of other parties called by investigators would be cooperative to come to the KPK office.
“Of course the presence of the relevant concerned is very much needed, so that in the process of this investigation we can then also get the information or information needed so as to make the light of this case,” Budi said.
He explained the summons of Yaqut in accordance with the needs of the investigation.It also aims so that the work is not done half measures.
“Therefore, all parties suspected of knowing the construction of this case were called to give their statements,” he said.
Budi added that in the near future the KPK would also increase the handling of the case to the investigation stage.
“We will check whether there is a confirmation of attendance or not. However, of course the KPK hopes that the person concerned can be present at the invitation or call because indeed the information from the person concerned is needed in the process of this investigation,” Budi said.
“And as soon as possible the KPK immediately raised to the investigation process if the investigation process is complete,” he concluded.
Before this, precisely on Tuesday (5/8), KPK investigators had clarified three people.
They are the Director General of Hajj and Umrah Implementation of the Ministry of Religion Hilman Latief;Secretary General of the Central Board of the Muslim Association of the Hajj and Umrah of the Republic of Indonesia (DPP Amphuri) Muhammad Farid Aljawi;and Chairperson of the Indonesian Umrah Hajj Travel Unit (Kesthuri) Asrul Aziz.
Then the investigators also questioned the Head of the Head of the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) Fadlul Imansyah and the preacher Khalid Basalamah.
