Commissioner of Komnas HAM monitoring Saurlin P Siagian said that this was confirmed after following the case title process at the Polri Propam, on Tuesday (2/9).
Even so, Saurlin was reluctant to reveal further whether human rights violations in the case were included in the category of severe or light.
“What is certain is that there are human rights violations,” he said in a press conference.
Furthermore, Saurlin said that in the case the case had also been concluded that there were allegations of ethical and criminal violations by the seven perpetrators.
He said based on the decision of the case title, the alleged criminal offense would be transferred to the Criminal Investigation Police.
“Earlier it was concluded that there were allegations of criminal acts and also ethical violations and would be transferred to the Criminal Investigation Police,” he said.
Previously the National Police Headquarters held an Affan Kurniawan online motorcycle taxi death case (Ojol) who was killed by the Tactical Vehicle (Rantis) of the Metro Jaya Police Mobile Brigade, on Tuesday (2/9) today.
Karo WabProf Propam Polri Brigadier General Agus Wijayanto said the title of the case was carried out because there was an alleged criminal offense to cause Affan to die.
“This title (case) is due to the results of an examination in the form of acts of violation of severe categories found a criminal element,” he said at a press conference on Monday (1/9).
Agus said the case title would be attended by external supervisors namely Kompolnas and Komnas HAM.While the internal will be followed by the ranks of itwasum, Bareskrim, HR, Divkum to Propam Brimob and Headquarters.
“So that we carry out all the case titles, the decision will be in Tuesday,” he said.
