Related to the case of slander against former Vice President (Vice President) Jusuf Kalla (

) will be a bad precedent for law enforcement in Indonesia.
Commissioner Komjak Nurokhman said the detention decision of 1.5 years in prison handed down to Silfester had been inkrah.
“In fact, if you wait for PK, it becomes a bad precedent for law enforcement in Indonesia in the future, it may be that all the convicts ask for the execution of waiting for the PK’s decision, we hope that before the PK session has been executed,” Nurokhman said when confirmed, Tuesday (12/8).
Nurokhman said the execution could be directly carried out even though currently the middle silfester submitted a request for a reconciliation at the South Jakarta District Court.He said the PK submission should not prevent the execution of Silfester.
“That is already inkrah, so it must be executed, even though there is a PK does not prevent execution,” he said.
Nurokhman said Komjak would also communicate with the South Jakarta Kejari regarding the execution process.He said Komjak would come directly to the South Jakarta Kejari asking the problems that occurred, so that the execution had not been implemented until now.
“Hopefully in a short time it will be executed soon,” he said.
Separately, the Attorney General’s Office also said that the PK request by Silfester did not obstruct the process of executing the court’s decision regarding the prison verdict.
“The principle is that PK does not delay execution,” Kapuspenkum Attorney General Anang Supriatna told reporters on Monday (11/8).
However, Anang did not explain further about the execution.He said that it was the authority of the South Jakarta District Attorney’s Office.
“That is the authority of the South Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office. Try later it will be confirmed, whether there has been a PK request to the South Jakarta District Court or as well as being checked whether it was passed on the South Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office,” he said.
Silfester was charged with a case of alleged slander while giving speeches.He was reported by Jusuf Kalla’s son, Solihin Kalla in 2017. The video while giving speeches circulated on social media.Silfester accused JK of using the SARA issue in winning the Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno pair in the DKI Jakarta Regional Election.
He was reported for alleged criminal acts of defamation and slander through the media as stated in Article 310 of the Criminal Code, 311 of the Criminal Code, as well as Articles 27 and 28 of Law Number 8 of 2011 concerning ITE.
Silfester was sentenced to 1 year in prison on July 30, 2018. The decision was strengthened at the appeal level which was read on October 29, 2018.
At the cassation level, the panel of judges aggravated Silfester’s sentence to be a sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison.But until now the decision of the cassation judges has not yet been executed.
