) Projected to strengthen in trading Friday (8/22).
MNC Sekuritas Technical Analyst Herditya Wicaksana estimates that the stock index still has space to strengthen to the range of 8,025-8,102.However, according to him, investors need to be aware of the potential for short-term correction to the level of 7,815-7,831.
“At present the JCI is in the wave phase [v], so that the chance of reinforcement remains even though the risk of correction is also open,” Herditya said in his daily research.
With this sentiment, Herditya projects the JCI to move in the range
support
7,800, 7,680 and
resistance
8,008, 8,103 today.He also recommended a number of shares, namely BBTN, Pani, Kras, and Wins.
Meanwhile, Binaartha Sekuritas analyst Ivan Rosanova saw that the JCI failed to continue the strengthening after
support
at the level of 7,893 broken.This condition opens the opportunity for the downward index to fill the gap at 7,800-7,835, unless able to return to penetrate 7,932.
“Today’s movement is largely determined by whether the JCI can survive above 7,932 or not,” Ivan said in his daily research.
He also predicted that IHSG moved at the level
support
7,739, 7,660, and 7,559 and
resistance
7,932, 8,025, and 8,120 today.Ivan also recommended a number of shares, namely Adro, Akra, ANTM, ASII, and BBCA.
JCI closed at 7,890 on Thursday (8/21) afternoon.The stock index weakened 53.10 points or minus 0.67 percent of the previous trade.
Citing RTI Infokom, investors made a transaction of Rp16.85 trillion with the number of shares traded as many as 37.73 billion shares.
At the close of yesterday, 366 shares strengthened, 283 corrected, and 152 stagnant.
